Who We Are
Roots is a small, BCBA owned company dedicated to high quality services delivered with compassion and care. We are a mother-daughter team with a shared passion for helping children with special needs and their families.
Kim Henry
The Owner and Founder of Roots, Kimberly started her career in Early Childhood education and worked for years in classroom settings with special needs children. After seeing an influx of children with autism, Kim went back to school to get her Masters in Education. She continued to work with the Early Intervention population and stumbled upon aba therapy. She decided to go back to school to get another masters in ABA therapy so she could specialize in children with autism. Kim is the BCBA for all clients in the greater Colorado Springs area.

Deana Erickson
Deana's connection to children with special needs began when she was a young assistant in an early childhood classroom. She was drawn to the children with behavioral challenges and sensory differences, quickly gaining a reputation as a safe space for them and a resource for their teachers. Deana began working in the field of ABA in 2017 and immediately knew she had found her niche. As a BCBA. Deana serves families in the greater Denver Metro area.
